Web Hosting Problems

Web hosting is one of the things that can cause a lot of stress. Today I found out that one of my sites has been unexpectedly placed on hold by the registrar and someone else has their data up on my site. Every day it is down I'm losing money and the registrar does not respond to my inquiries. I have the domain until 2006 and the web hosting has been paid, so what's the problem?

The problem comes from getting hosting from companies without doing much background checking. I chose to go with this particular host about a year ago and they took care of the domain registration / renewal. This is the first time we've gone through the renewal process.

I've hosted through many companies and have found good and bad from each. But www.GoDaddy.com is one of the best and most reliable -- so as soon as I get this mess straightened out, I'll be switching this site over. It's not worth saving a few dollars each month if there are going to be problems with the host being down, renewals not getting done, etc.
